Emerson Opens New Technology Center In China.
The St. Louis Business Journal (11/18) reports, "Emerson said Monday that it has opened its new Asia Flow Technology Center in Nanjing, China." The facility "expands production capacity and services for Emerson Process Management's flow metering and measurement technologies that serve the oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, marine, life sciences, food and beverage, metals and mining, and pulp and paper industries." The new "manufacturing facility features the region's highest accuracy flow calibration laboratory." The article notes that "the center joins other recently opened Emerson Process Management facilities in Asia including Chiba (Tokyo) Japan; Wuqing, Tianjin China; Rayong Province, Thailand; Bao'an, Shenzhen, China; and Singapore."
